/ 讲座回顾 / SUFE SFS Mingsi Forum Corpus-Based Language Pedagogy (CBLP) for Language Teachers in the AI Era 上财外语明思讲坛·新文科背景下科技赋能外语教育系列讲座(第19讲) 主讲人:马清博士 香港教育大学人文学院副院长 12月10日下午,香港教育大学马清教授应邀做客上财外语明思讲坛暨“新文科背景下科技赋能外语教育”系列讲座第19讲,为我院师生作题为“Corpus-Based Language Pedagogy (CBLP) for Language Teachers in the AI Era”的线上专题讲座。讲座由外国语学院院长赵珂教授主持,我院多语与跨文化教研室、专门用途外语教研室、语言数据科学及应用教研室、语言学及应用语言学教研室的骨干教师参加了本次讲座。 马清教授的讲座深入探讨了在人工智能时代,教师如何利用基于语料库的语言教学法来提升语言教学的效率和质量。马清教授首先引入CL(Corpus Literacy语料库素养)与CBLP(Corpus-Based Language Pedagogy)的概念,并指出CBLP的核心在于教师如何利用语料库资源来设计和实施教学活动,引导学生通过语料库数据来探索和学习语言规律。马清教授介绍了多个用户友好的在线语料库工具,如COCA、SKELL和NETSPEAK,通过丰富详实的教学案例演示了如何使用这些工具进行语言研究和教学设计。在此基础上,马清教授提出了“AI赋能的CBLP 2.0”这一概念,强调了AI在进一步增强CBLP实践中的应用潜力。马清教授还特别介绍了香港教育大学自主开发的语料库教学平台Corpus-Aided Platform for Language Teachers (CAP),该平台提供了丰富的信息和大量的语料资源,旨在有效支持语言教师(包括小学、中学和大学教师)在词汇、语法、发音和语言对比分析等方面进行CBLP的探索与实践。 马清教授的分享为与会教师提供了丰富的语料库教学策略和工具,拓宽了他们对语料库辅助语言教学的认识,也为他们在教学实践中如何有效利用现代技术提供了新的思路和方法。特别是在AI技术日益发展的今天,如何将AI技术与语料库教学相结合,成为了教师们热议的话题。通过“新文科背景下科技赋能外语教育”系列讲座活动,学院聚焦技术赋能的教学创新、多模态语言能力发展、多模态分析与测评等重要前沿问题。这些活动有效地促进了外语教师深入了解信息技术赋能教学的新理念、新技术和新模式,提升信息技术素养与教学能力,助力外语教育教学现代化的深化改革。 嘉宾简介 Qing Ma (Angel) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language Studies and currently holds the position of Associate Dean (Research & Postgraduate Studies) in the Faculty of Humanities at The Education University of Hong Kong. Her research primarily focuses on second language vocabulary acquisition, corpus linguistics, and the application of technology in language learning, including corpus-based language pedagogy (CBLP), computer-assisted language learning (CALL), and mobile-assisted language learning (MALL), AI in language education.She has developed the Parallel EAP Corpora (http://corpus.eduhk.hk/eap/) for research purposes, as well as the Corpus-Aided Platform for Language Teachers (CAP) (http://corpus.eduhk.hk/cap/) and the Corpus-Based Language Pedagogy for English Teachers (https://pressbooks.pub/cmtry1/) for teaching applications. She is an experimenter of corpus technology in teaching, and passionate English teacher trainer. She has established a new corpus-based language pedagogy by theorising and empirically testing it that has positively impacted many pre-service and in-service English teachers. She is the associate editor for four international journals: Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL); International Journal of Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Teaching (IJCALLT); Journal of China Computer-Assisted Language Learning (ChinaCALL); Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning.
